Pictures of the Real House Built from the Drawing.

Here are some pics of the real house built in Jacksonville, FL.  It was designed by Tim Bryon of Atlanta Ga.  Our home will be similar, but the interior has been change and will be a bit less formal and more farmhouse in style.  The basic floor plan is the same, but we eliminated some of the 2nd floor rooms, made the garage a bit bigger :), Change the kitchen and master bath to include vaulted ceilings and put some New England features in such as Eastern White Cedar shingles on the east exterior of the master bath.  Our wood flooring will be almost 100% knotty yellow pine, with some multi-colored slate tile in the utility and mud room.  Guess I should publish the pic of the floor plan.

Our driveway will be crush caliche aka limestone.
Instead of brick we will be using something more indigenous such as Austin limestone.

Also hope to put one of these up to house things we will need, read tractor :) , and other things.  It is a 30x30 foot RCA (Raised Center Isle) barn made of metal.  Would have loved to put in a wooden one, but the $$ cost was too high.

Finishing up Detailed Budget

Reg and I met yesterday with Memorial Bldg Supply rep, Gabriel, who gave us a hard bid on our windows.  Only other hard bid out there is for the Material Take Off or MTO.  This is the complete listing of all the building products required to frame the house.
